This position is focused on delivering excellent service and quality food in a fast-paced environment. This position ensures each customer receives a hot, freshly prepared product, of the highest quality ingredients. Works collaboratively to ensure orders are accurately made to order and promptly served while following all food safety and company standards. The purpose of this position is to ensure smooth daily operations by performing a variety of tasks that contribute to customer satisfaction and overall efficiency.

1. Ensures all products are prepared according to quality standards, as ordered, and delivered to the customer within Whataburger service time standards.
2. Supports food production through the preparation and stocking of various food items.
3. Performs maintenance tasks as scheduled or assigned.
4. Actively participates in all current sales promotions/marketing events during work time.
5. Operates all designated food production or customer service stations.
6. Learns and applies the correct location for all items stored and used, such as food products, paper products, cleaning supplies, etc.
7. Stocks the drink, fry, and dining room stations and grill area to assure continuous service is maintained
8. Demonstrates knowledge of proper storage procedures upon delivery of all produce items. Practices First-In/First Out (FIFO).
9. Efficiently prepares all produce items to maintain proper par levels, using the proper food handling, rotation (FIFO) and storage procedures.
10. Follows established recipes for preparing and serving Whataburger's products.
11. Maintains all utensils and food production equipment in good working order by using the correct cleaning, sharpening, and storage procedures at all times. Utilizes proper cutting surfaces.
12. Cleans the customer service areas by following the proper procedures, including outside landscaping, building entrances, dining room tables and condiment stations, restrooms, and food production and storage units.
13. Supports customer service by stocking stations with an appropriate number of items to ensure continuous service.
14. Follows company cash handling policies.
