Overview

We're looking for a dual role part-time breakfast server (6am-3:30pm) and Barista.

The Restaurant Server who will welcome guests, is highly motivated, and customer focused. Potential for great tips our server base rate is above market, if you provide excellent service your hourly earning can be over $20 per hour.

Servers are the face of our restaurant and the Starbucks Kiosk they are responsible for our customers experiences. Server responsibilities include ensuring our guests receive the beverages they order at our Starbucks and in the restaurant that tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, guests greeted properly and served with a smile and properly. They must present menus and discuss entrees and offerings with the guest. Ultimately serving food and beverages. The individual will need to be quick on their feet and have an engaging attitude.

Your role:

• Prepare the restaurant pre-shift for the service ahead
• Greet guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant
• Guide guests on their culinary journey through descriptive selling of the menu
• Be accurate in your order taking, confirming all special requests prepare beerages to menu specifications
• Be the master of the menu, understanding the details to enhance the conversation
• Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Assist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happy
• Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation

Serve guests, take and deliver orders with a friendly "can-do" attitude.

Qualifications

- Must accurately enter guests orders and understand special requests

- Must lift trays, serveware and glassware weighing up to 40 pounds

- Carries out all duties in accordance with the high quality standards of Pyramid Hotel Group.

- Must be able to stand for up to 9 hours

- Must enjoy one-on-one interaction with members of the public
