Overnight Resident Aide - Overnights
LHH is hiring a Resident Aide to work overnight hours at our client in San Pedro, CA. The person in this role will be responsible for daily shelter operations, including ensuring safety and de-escalating situations as needed.

  • Tuesday - Saturday, 11PM-8AM
    
  • Monday - Thursday, 11PM-8AM & Saturday 7AM-4PM
    
• Location: 100% onsite in San Pedro
  
• Hiring method: Contract to Hire / Temp to Perm
  
• Hourly pay rate: $21/hour
  

Responsibilities include,

• Supporting clients in a 100-bed, co-ed interim housing facility
  
• Meal distribution, supplying clients with hygiene or related items
  
• De-escalating situations as needed
  
• Creating and updating incident reports, shift logs, and any other required documents
  

Qualified candidates will possess,

• 1 year of experience working with the homeless population (field work or interim housing)
  
• Knowledgeable/comfortable with utilizing the harm-reduction model
  
• Must have reliable transportation and valid drivers license to meet demands of the position
  

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
