Research Associate Scientific

Our client, a leading organization in pharmaceutical research and development, is seeking a Research Associate Scientific to join their team. As a Research Associate Scientific, you will be part of the Analytical Development Department supporting innovative projects in drug analysis and formulation. The ideal candidate will have strong laboratory skills, excellent teamwork abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Research Associate Scientific

Location: Round Lake, Illinois

What's the Job?

• Pull samples from experimental setups and analyze them using HPLC/UPLC techniques.
• Collect, interpret, and present data to project managers to support ongoing experiments.
• Maintain detailed lab notebooks documenting procedures, results, and observations.
• Follow safety protocols and good laboratory practices (GLP) to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and optimize analytical methods.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline with at least 2+ years of laboratory experience, or a Master’s Degree with no professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC, GC, UV-Vis, pH meters, and other laboratory instrumentation.
• Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols and good lab practices (GLP).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for data analysis and reporting.
