Responsibilities
Under general supervision, performs routine clerical pre-billing functions which support entire Patient Business Services process, including data entry, electronic submission of claims, filing, mail processing, document review, redaction, and form completion. May handle inventory and stocking of equipment and supplies.
Qualifications
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience:
Six months previous clerical support experience preferred.
Skills:
Net typing of 40 wpm and PC based computer skills.
Familiar with 10 key.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Works efficiently with minimal supervision, exercising independent judgment within stated guidelines.
Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills which promote cooperation and teamwork.
Ability to withstand varying job pressures and organize/prioritize related job tasks.
Excellent public relations skills and demonstrated ability to communicate in calm, businesslike manner.
Ability to adapt to change.
LEGACY:
Pay Range
USD $20.83 - USD $29.79 /Hr.
