Civil Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Create designs using Civil 3D for grading/earthwork, erosion control, stormwater pollution prevention plans, stormwater design, and pavement
2. Prepare detailed engineering analyses, designs, and calculations for site development.
3. Assist in project management tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and design review.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in site development.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience in land development and stormwater design.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with state and local regulatory agencies.
• Strong interpersonal skills for public interaction and conflict resolution.
• Experience with MicroStation is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position with a firm based out of Warrenville, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $115000.00/hr.
