PHYSICAL THERAPY
Physical therapists evaluate posture, gait, balance, coordination and strength to develop a treatment plan with the goal of helping the patient regain mobility and independence. After identifying areas of strength and weakness, a physical therapist may work to improve a patient's independence with tasks such as getting up from a chair or climbing stairs.
Leads, guides and directs the delivery of physical therapy services in the facility in accordance with local, state and federal regulations, standards and established facility policies and procedures to provide appropriate care and services to residents.
The Physical Therapist must possess:
A valid, unrestricted license in his/her therapy discipline in the state.
Meet educational requirements of his/her licensure requirements.
Valid driver's license in the state of employment.
Knowledgeable of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Will accept new Grads
2 years of PT experience - Preferred
LTC or Rehab experience - Required
MO State License - Required (or willing to obtain)

Atrium Place Health & Rehabilitation is a busy 120 bed skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation facility with a compassionate and dedicated nursing team and a fun, high energy in-house therapy team. We see a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological diagnoses and both short term rehab patients as well as long term care residents. We are a newly formed healthcare company whose goal is to become the premier inpatient rehab provider in the communities we serve. We utilize modalities and equipment through ACP. We seek a PT who is a self-motivated healthcare professional with a passion for thinking out of the box, developing patient center clinical programming, and providing outstanding care to meet the diverse needs of our patients.
