Product Development & Regulatory Specialist

We are looking for a Product Development & Regulatory Specialist for a food manufacturer on Long Island, NY. You will work cross-functionally with R&D, Quality Assurance, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure all products meet internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable FDA/USDA regulations.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and maintain product formulas and specifications
• Review labels, nutrition facts, and allergen info for compliance
• Conduct nutritional analysis and support new product launches
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams on ingredient compliance
• Stay updated on regulatory trends and provide guidance to staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in food science, Nutrition, or related field
• 2+ years in food product development, regulatory, or labeling
• Strong FDA/USDA labeling knowledge and nutritional analysis skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and team-focused
