Regulatory Affairs Specialist

The International Regulatory Specialist will focus on ensuring global compliance for all product lines, including aerosols, paints, and thinners. This role demands a strong chemical background and involves reviewing labels, product formulations, and chemicals to verify adherence to global standards. The Specialist will support new acquisitions, product launches, and audits, and will act as a subject matter expert on global regulations. Occasional travel is required, and the position offers a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify product labels, formulations, and chemicals for global compliance.
• Support new acquisitions, product lines, launches, and audits.
• Review data sheets and act as a subject matter expert on global regulations.
• Collaborate with sales teams, suppliers, and consultants.
• Prepare and submit regulatory documents and ensure compliance with global regulations.

Essential Skills

• Strong background in chemistry.
• At least 3 years of related experience.
• Expertise in global regulations and regulatory submissions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in sciences required.
• Knowledge of IATA, DOT, and IMDG regulations.
• Proficient in food label review software.
• Ability to work independently and juggle multiple tasks.
• Strong team player and capable of working under pressure.

Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid work environment with three days in the office and two days working remotely. The role requires collaboration with various teams including sales, suppliers, and consultants. The work setting encourages teamwork and provides a supportive atmosphere to thrive in.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Vernon Hills, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.00/hr.
