Job Overview: The Regulatory & Accreditation Officer oversees and directs all aspects of accreditation, regulatory and hospital licensure compliance for Deaconess Memorial Medical Center (DMMC). Provides consultation to leadership including accreditation readiness through operational committees, communication, facilitation and project management. Communicates about accreditation/regulatory requirements, implications to the healthcare environment and strategies to reliably achieve compliance. Identifies opportunities for improvements based on evidence-based practices in regulatory and accreditation compliance, analysis of internal and external compliance/risk assessments and findings from regulatory authorities.

Required: Certifications/Licenses/Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) in Indiana or other compact licensure state
• 3-5 years of acute care experience
• BSN

Preferred Certification/License/Experience:

• MSN
