Account Executive Leadership Role

Lead a high-performing team of account executives dedicated to AWS cloud solutions for state and local government and higher education institutions. This strategic role requires deep understanding of public sector procurement processes, educational technology needs, and AWS's comprehensive cloud portfolio. Key job responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing a high-performing sales team focused on customer obsession
• Driving strategic engagement with C-level executives and technical decision-makers
• Executing comprehensive go-to-market strategies in partnership with marketing, solutions architecture, and business development teams
• Developing and maintaining strategic customer relationships to accelerate adoption
• Meeting/exceeding revenue targets while building a robust sales pipeline
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to drive customer acquisition and success
• Leading operational excellence and contract negotiations
• Representing AWS Services internal stakeholders and leadership teams
