Job Description

As a Refrigeration Technician, you will maintain and repair the facility's HVAC/R equipment and assets. You will manage repair work orders, provide prompt emergency maintenance responses, and inspect and test facilities to diagnose issues.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC/R equipment and assets.

• Utilize commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills with various tools.

• Manage repair Work Orders through the work order management system.

• Provide prompt responses to emergency maintenance calls.

• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.

• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines.

Essential Skills

• Refrigeration and HVAC skills.

• Journeyman license.

• Vocational or Technical HVAC/R certification and 6 months' experience, OR 2 years total work experience in commercial refrigeration, mechanical maintenance, or construction-related field.

• Type I and Type II EPA certification.

• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.

• Valid Driver's License.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

• Ability to move up and down ladders frequently.

• Comfortable working at heights.

Work Environment

This position involves a 1st shift and on-call schedule. You must be willing to commute up to 50 miles. Compensation is based on experience, and you will receive a company vehicle on your first day.
