Receiving Specialist

As a Receiving Specialist, you will be responsible for executing the full receiving process, including unloading deliveries, verifying materials, and processing system entries. You will ensure that all parts are accurately labeled and properly stored in designated bin locations. Additionally, you will identify and resolve any discrepancies in the receiving process, escalating issues to the Supply Chain team when necessary. Your role will also involve collaborating closely with Quality Assurance for incoming inspections and supporting process improvements to enhance speed, accuracy, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Execute full receiving process, including unloading deliveries, verifying materials, and system receiving.
• Accurately label parts and coordinate proper put-away into designated bin locations.
• Identify and resolve receiving discrepancies and escalate issues when necessary with the Supply Chain team.
• Support identification of process improvement opportunities to enhance speed, accuracy, and compliance in the receiving process.
• Partner closely with Quality Assurance for incoming inspection scheduling.

Essential Skills:

• 1+ years of experience in warehouse receiving, inventory control, or materials management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems; NetSuite WMS experience is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated reliability, willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to solving problems.
• Basic understanding of materials control, inventory movement, and cycle count processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory and system accuracy.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Preferred experience with operating a forklift and certification.

Work Environment:

This position is based onsite with working hours from 6:55 am to 3:30 pm. The role involves working closely with warehouse and quality assurance teams to ensure efficient receiving processes.

Job Type & Location:

This is a contract to hire position based out of Huntsville, Alabama.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
