Raisers Edge Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Raiser's Edge Specialist to join a fundraising and development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Raiser's Edge database, ensuring data integrity, and providing critical support for fundraising activities. This role is crucial in helping the organization achieve its mission by leveraging data to drive donor engagement and enhance fundraising efforts.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Raiser's Edge database, including data entry, updates, and overall integrity
• Create and manage queries, exports, and reports to support fundraising campaigns and donor outreach efforts
• Oversee the processing and acknowledgment of all donations, ensuring timely and accurate donor recognition
• Develop and implement data management protocols, including regular data cleaning and de-duplication
• Provide training and support to staff on best practices for using Raiser's Edge
• Work closely with the development team to segment donor lists and identify potential major gift prospects
• Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns by providing data-driven insights
• Generate and analyze fundraising reports to monitor progress towards goals and identify trends
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to donor data management
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate Raiser's Edge with other systems and platforms as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• 3 years of experience working with Raiser's Edge, including database management and reporting
• Strong understanding of fundraising and donor management practices
• Proficiency in using Raiser's Edge query, export, and reporting tools
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT is a plus
• Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising strategies and goals
