Radiology Technologist - Urgent Care

Schedule: Saturday 2:00pm - 10:00pm, Monday 7:00am - 10:00pm, Tuesday 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Location: 1167 WANTAGH AVE, Wantagh, 11793

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Performing diagnostic x-ray examinations and ensuring quality assurance.
• Taking vital signs, performing EKGs, and assisting providers in patient care.
• Preparing examination rooms and maintaining an organized environment.
• Documenting patient encounters in EMR and preparing lab specimens.
• Handling patient follow-up calls and performing medical assistant duties as needed.
• Restocking and maintaining inventory effectively.
• Collaborating with other team members to improve patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• A degree from an accredited radiology technologist program.
• New York State radiology licensure and ARRT registration.
• Strong customer service and computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in diagnostic x-ray.
• Familiarity with EMR systems.
• Prior experience in medical or urgent care settings.
