Radiology Technologist - Part Time

Location: UCHealth UCHlth Urgent Care Cir Square, US:CO:Colorado Springs

Department: Urgent Care Radiology

FTE: Part Time, 0.6, 48.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Weekend Days

Pay: $28.38 - $39.74/hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R). Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for position. State licensure if required by law. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
• BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

Your Role Includes:

• Providing top-notch direct patient care while performing various imaging and radiologic procedures.
• Reviewing patient history and initiating Radiographic images based on physician order, while ensuring patient education for mutual understanding.
• Safely administering contrast media or associated imaging medications, and monitoring patient conditions.
• Responding to and reporting any changes in patient condition as necessary.
• Implementing best practices in Radiology to ensure image clarity and equipment functionality.
