Radiology Technologist - Float Position

What You'll Do:

• Conduct diagnostic x-ray procedures with precision and care, ensuring optimal image quality.
• Recognize anatomical orientation on images, maintaining proper identification.
• Engage with patients, gather medical history, and enter accurate data into our systems.
• Provide comprehensive patient care, safeguarding against excessive radiation exposure.
• Monitor vital signs throughout examinations, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Offer mentorship to new team members, fostering a supportive learning environment.
• Maintain compliance with all facility standards, including HIPAA and ARRT ethical guidelines.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms.
• Contribute positively to a team-oriented atmosphere and participate in continuous professional development.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• ARRT certification is mandatory.
• Experience with computerized systems related to radiology is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in radiography or related field.
• At least one year of experience as a general radiologic technologist.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients and staff.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Must lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Vision correctable to 20/20 for equipment operation and film review.

This position offers a competitive pay range of $23.41 to $41.83 per hour based on experience and qualifications, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates.
