Radiology Technologist - Competitive Pay and Sign-On Bonus

Optum is looking for a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our innovative team. With a focus on enhancing patient care, this role is integral to our mission of transforming healthcare delivery. We offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from $23.41 to $41.83, along with a generous $10,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Prepare and position patients for various diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Clearly explain procedures to patients to ensure their understanding and comfort.
• Operate imaging equipment, adjusting controls to achieve optimal image quality while adhering to radiation protection protocols.
• Perform both routine and specialized diagnostic radiology procedures.
• Review and process images, ensuring quality and proper identification before they are sent to radiologists or requesting physicians.
• Conduct routine maintenance on radiologic equipment and troubleshoot general issues as they arise.

**Schedule:** Monday through Friday, no weekends.

**Required Qualifications:**

• High school diploma or GED.
• License or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology in New York.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or willingness to obtain within 180 days.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• 1 or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR software.
• Experience in orthopedic imaging.
