As a Radiology Technician, you will play a key role in our fast-growing healthcare team. You will perform vital radiological duties that adhere to all regulatory and departmental standards. Your responsibilities will include executing radiographic exams as ordered by physicians, ensuring they are done with precision and comfort for our patients, while applying the ALARA principle to minimize radiation exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients under the X-ray machine, ensuring their comfort and safety with appropriate protective measures.
• Assist physicians with various patient care activities, including EKGs, phlebotomy, and injections.
• Manage documentation by preparing reports, maintaining service records, and keeping an organized system for radiological film files.
• Ensure the maintenance of supplies and equipment while practicing OSHA safety standards.
• Perform additional related tasks as needed to support the team.

• Strong communication skills, with a focus on patient empathy.
• A collaborative mindset to work effectively with healthcare teams, including doctors and nursing staff.
• Problem-solving skills aimed at improving patient experiences.
• Proficiency with IT systems and medical software.
• Detail-oriented approach to documentation and patient care.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced environment while remaining calm under pressure.
• Willingness for some local travel as you may cover multiple healthcare centers.

Education and Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited Radiological Technology program or Basic X-Ray Machine Operator training is required.
• Preferred background in an Accredited Medical Assistant program.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting as an X-ray Technologist; two years preferred.
• Licensure and certification as required by state regulations.
• Experience with EMR systems is a plus.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of employment.

Compensation:

Hourly pay range is $23.30 - $33.25.
