Baptist Urgent Care is seeking dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Medical Assistants/X-Ray Technologists or Radiology Technologists to become part of our dynamic healthcare team. We have Full-Time and PRN opportunities available!

Job Summary:
As a Medical Assistant/X-Ray Tech or Radiology Tech, you will be responsible for providing essential support to our patients and medical staff, ensuring an efficient and caring experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients promptly and guide them through the process.
• Communicate wait times and assist patients with the next steps.
• Provide timely follow-up regarding lab and x-ray results.
• Document patient histories, vital signs, and other pertinent information accurately.
• Assist with procedures under the supervision of a healthcare provider.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Maintain and ensure the functionality of radiology and laboratory equipment.
• Follow infection control guidelines and uphold patient confidentiality.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Medical Assistant Certificate or equivalent experience.
• Valid State License for performing X-Rays.
• BLS Certification.
