Position Overview

The Radiology Technician is responsible for performing imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety. The ideal candidate demonstrates longevity in past roles and excels in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiologic imaging procedures as needed
• Ensure proper positioning, technique, and radiation safety measures
• Maintain and operate radiology equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate with surgeons and clinical staff to provide imaging support during procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification (Required)
• Education: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Required)
• Experience: Demonstrated longevity in past roles preferred (stability and reliability are highly valued)
• Prior experience in a surgical or outpatient setting (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
