Radiology Scheduler

Schedule: Work will be Monday through Friday for 40 hours weekly from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with rotating Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Your specific schedule will be coordinated with your supervisor upon hire.

Location: 100 South Bedford, Second Floor, Admin Office Road, Mount Kisco, NY 10549

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather accurate patient information, including name, address, and insurance details.
• Perform insurance verification during the scheduling process.
• Efficiently schedule radiology procedures and maintain medical records.
• Manage incoming and outgoing calls and provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
• Work collaboratively with care team members to meet clinical and service objectives.
• Conduct follow-ups for scheduled appointments and lab results.
• Participate in continuous learning about medical requirements relevant to the role.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher).
• At least 1 year of customer service or healthcare experience.
• Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Flexibility to work the specified hours and rotating Saturdays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a call center environment.
• Medical front office experience, including scheduling and insurance verification.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EPIC) and radiology procedures.

Soft Skills:

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to work independently while maintaining accountability.
