Join Our Compassionate Team! Baptist Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant/X-Ray Tech or Radiology Tech to become a vital part of our healthcare family. We have both full-time and PRN opportunities available!

About Us: Baptist Urgent Care, part of the Urgent Team network, operates 10 locations in Tennessee and Mississippi. As an accredited care center, we provide accessible and quality urgent and family healthcare seven days a week, addressing a variety of medical needs.

Your Role: As a Medical Assistant/X-Ray Tech or Radiology Tech, you will be the first point of contact for patients, assisting them throughout their visit and ensuring smooth operations between medical staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet patients and guide them through the treatment process.
• Communicate wait times and keep patients informed on next steps.
• Assist with patient transfers and clinical procedures under supervision.
• Prepare patients for radiological procedures while following safety protocols.
• Document patient vital signs and pertinent history accurately.
• Conduct follow-up calls regarding lab and x-ray results with urgency.
• Keep examination rooms clean and well-stocked.
• Adhere to all infection control, safety guidelines, and patient confidentiality policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Valid Medical Assistant Certificate or equivalent experience.
• State License to perform X-Rays.
• BLS Certification required.
