Urgent Team is actively seeking dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant/X-Ray Tech or Radiology Tech professionals to become part of our dynamic healthcare family. With our conveniently located walk-in centers, we offer a variety of healthcare services aimed at treating injuries and illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care. Our centers are open seven days a week: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. We are proud to be an Accredited Care Center recognized by the Urgent Care Association, highlighting our commitment to safety, quality, and comprehensive services.

Position Summary:

The Medical Assistant/X-Ray Tech or Radiology Tech will play a key role in providing exceptional patient care by greeting patients, managing patient files, and supporting both patients and medical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet patients as they enter the waiting area, exam rooms, and x-ray rooms.
• Effectively communicate with patients about wait times and guide them on the next steps in their treatment journey.
• Proactively address patient concerns and seek assistance in urgent situations.
• Provide timely follow-ups regarding lab and x-ray results with a sense of urgency.
• Assist frontline staff with patient check-in and check-out processes when needed.
• Accurately obtain and document patient vital signs, medical history, current medications, allergies, and other relevant information.
• Support patient transfers and assist with procedures under the supervision of a provider.
• Ensure patient safety and care during radiologic procedures, following established protocols for radiation protection.
• Check and maintain the functionality of equipment, reporting any issues to the Regional Operation Manager or on-duty provider.
• Complete patient visit documentation in compliance with procedural guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and related areas.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and uphold patient confidentiality at all times.
• Perform phlebotomy, administer injections, and conduct laboratory procedures as appropriate under provider direction.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Medical Assistant Certificate or equivalent experience is preferred.
• A valid State License to perform X-Rays is required.
• BLS Certification is required.
