Here's What You Need

Education

n
• n Other Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology upon hire required Ornn
n
• n Associate's Degree preferrednn
n

Experience

n
• n 1 year radiologic technologist experience preferrednn
n

Licenses and Certifications

n
• n CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (Either by the TDH or TMB) upon hire required Andnn
n
• n ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists 6 months required Andnn
n
• n BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly requirednn
n

What You Will Do

Imaging Procedures, Quality and Processing

n
• n Explains procedures to patient or guardian / family member if applicable prior to examnn
n
• n Positions patient to correct anatomical area of interestnn
n

Patient Care

n
• n Uses multidisciplinary, team oriented actionsnn
n
• n Assesses and recognizes the patient's emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive and psychosocial conditionsnn
n

Equipment Operation and Maintenance

n
• n Adjusts technical factorsnn
n
• n Operates, cares for and maintains equipmentnn
n

Professional Accountability and Partnership

n
• n Maintains and enhances technical skills and technology advancementnn

• n Performs any assignment deemed necessary by supervisornn

Texas Health HEB is a 252-bed, acute-care, full-service hospital serving our community since 1973. Our location in the DFW mid cities area provides convenient care to the residents of Hurst, Euless, Bedford and the surrounding communities.
