Job requirements include:

• Operating X-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body
• Positioning patients utilizing immobilization devices
• Monitoring, recording and communicating as appropriate, utilizing easy-to-navigate computerized documentation systems
• Utilizing knowledge of any age-specific needs of a patient in relation to the performance of duties and responsibilities
• Practicing radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff
• Following standard precautions using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
• Splinting and strapping patients as needed
• Explaining procedures to patients and addressing their concerns
• Assisting with patient registration, insurance verification, and normal daily office operations
• Smiling and creating a caring and helpful experience to the patients
