Job Overview:
We are on the hunt for a compassionate and highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic outpatient imaging team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting diagnostic radiographic procedures with a focus on precision, accuracy, and ensuring patient comfort. As a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, you will produce high-quality images that play a crucial role in diagnosis and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations as directed by physicians.
• Prepare and position patients accurately to achieve optimal imaging outcomes.
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring it is properly calibrated and functioning.
• Review images for quality assurance and follow established protocols for image storage.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control practices.
• Document patient information accurately and complete necessary reports.
• Collaborate with radiology and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and imaging techniques.

Qualifications:

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography required.
• Current state licensure, as required by law.
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent from an accredited program.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, preferably in an outpatient or clinical setting.

Skills and Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of radiologic procedures, anatomy, and patient positioning.
• Proficiency in using imaging software and radiologic equipment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Dedication to maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Familiarity with additional imaging modalities (e.g., CT, MRI) is a plus.
