Join our dedicated team as a Radiologic Technologist, where you will have the opportunity to perform a diverse range of routine and advanced imaging procedures. In this role, you will support fellow imaging technologists, ensuring smooth and efficient patient flow. Flexibility is key as you may be required to work various shifts and assist at different campuses. Your technical expertise will be vital in troubleshooting basic maintenance issues, participating in quality assurance, and addressing any concerns related to image processing and archiving. You will also engage in ongoing education to stay updated on safety and technological advancements, all while adhering to high imaging competencies set by management. • Adapt assessment and treatment methods to meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Comply with all regulations set by state and federal agencies, as well as hospital standards.
• Conduct examinations and procedures effectively to assist in patient throughput.
• Exhibit flexibility by working various shifts as needed.
• Ensure that completed exams are accurately scanned and stored in PACS.
• Follow PACS downtime procedures and escalate issues to the PACS administrator if required.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate with management and biomedical personnel for effective resolution.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education/Skills

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or an equivalent program.

Experience

• Preferred: 1 year of experience in a hospital setting.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

• ARRT Radiography (R) certification is required.
• State Licensure required:
• Texas: MRT by TMB
• Louisiana: LRT (R) or (F) by LSRTBE
• New Mexico: RRT by MIRTP NMED
• BLS certification is required.
