Baptist Urgent Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Radiologic Technologists to join our passionate healthcare team. Both full-time and PRN roles are available!

Baptist Urgent Care operates 10 locations in Tennessee and Mississippi and is affiliated with Urgent Team, one of the largest independent family care providers in the Southeast. Our family of centers ensures quality and affordable healthcare at over 80 locations.

Our convenient, walk-in centers offer a wide range of medical services, including treatment for injuries and illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care. We are open seven days a week: Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. All Baptist Urgent Care centers are Accredited Care Centers, reflecting our dedication to safety, quality, and comprehensive services.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Radiologic Technologist will warmly greet patients, manage patient files, and provide essential support to both patients and medical staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following tasks describe typical responsibilities for this position but are not exhaustive. Additional duties may be assigned as needed:

• Greet patients promptly upon entering waiting areas, exam rooms, and lab or x-ray rooms.
• Communicate with patients regarding wait times and guide them through the treatment process.
• Resolve patient concerns and proactively seek assistance during emergencies.
• Provide timely follow-ups on lab and x-ray results, demonstrating urgency.
• Assist front desk staff with check-in/out processes when needed.
• Gather and accurately document patient vital signs, medical histories, and current medications.
• Support patient transfers and assist with procedures under provider supervision.
• Help with lab procedures as directed by providers.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures while adhering to safety and regulatory standards, including radiation protection protocols.
• Ensure equipment functionality and report any issues to the Regional Operation Manager or provider.
• Complete required documentation for patient visits in accordance with policies.
• Maintain examination rooms and restock supplies as necessary.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines, while upholding patient confidentiality.
• Perform phlebotomy, injections, medical and laboratory procedures, under the direction of a provider as appropriate.

WHAT'S REQUIRED?
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or Radiologic Technologist
Medical Assistant Certification or relevant experience
Valid State License to perform X-Rays
BLS Certification required
