Department: MCR Diagnostic Rad

FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Weekend Days

Pay: $27.61 - $41.41 / hour. Pay based on relevant experience

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R). Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for the position. State licensure as required by law.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with card in-hand before the start date. BLS or CPR card must be valid for 60 days post-hire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review patient history and initiate Radiographic images based on physician orders, prioritizing patient education for effective cooperation.
• Safely administer contrast media or associated imaging medications while monitoring patient conditions.
• Respond to and report changes in patient conditions appropriately.
• Implement techniques to enhance image quality, ensuring equipment functionality based on established best practices in Radiology (ARRT).
