Position: Radiologic Technologist

Shift: 8 Hours - Day Shifts

Job Schedule: Full time

Weekly Hours: 32.00

Salary Range: $33.98 - $44.68

Union Position: Yes

Department Overview:

• Work Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
• Call Requirements: On-call once a week and every fourth weekend

Your role will involve performing diagnostic imaging examinations, ensuring the generation of high-quality diagnostic images, and operating equipment in accordance with established protocols. You will ensure the accuracy of patient positioning during procedures and uphold radiation safety protocols throughout the imaging process.

Additionally, you will glorify excellent patient care and education before, during, and after imaging procedures, as well as proficiently navigate the electronic medical record system. An openness to taking on extra duties is essential.

Please note that responsibilities may expand based on facility needs, including participating in on-call rotations, performing various diagnostic radiology procedures, and conducting mobile imaging or DEXA procedures.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an educational program accredited by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
• Strong foundational knowledge of diagnostic radiographic principles is essential.
• Current registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
• Possession of Cardiovascular and/or Vascular Interventional Certification is desired within three years of hire.
• Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of hire; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) may also be requested.
