Schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible schedule, floating between various imaging and specialty practices in Nassau and parts of Suffolk County.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Provide explanations of procedures and processes to patients for clarity and comfort.
• Operate imaging equipment accurately, adjusting settings based on patient needs.
• Implement radiation protection techniques to ensure safety for patients and staff.
• Perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiology procedures.
• Process and review images for quality assurance.
• Prepare images for interpretation by the radiologist or requesting physician.
• Conduct minor repairs and routine maintenance on radiologic equipment.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid license or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology in New York.
• ARRT certification or willingness to obtain certification within 180 days.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR software.
• Experience in orthopedic imaging.
