Salary: $70,720 - $93,600 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate advanced imaging equipment to perform diagnostic exams with precision.
Guarantee optimal image quality prior to submission for review.
Accurately order, track, and process exams via HIS/RIS systems.
Collaborate closely with radiologists and clinical teams to expedite urgent imaging requirements and assist in real-time readings and diagnostics.
Maintain and ensure sterile and operational condition of imaging equipment and work area.
Provide thoughtful care to patients by positioning them correctly and comfortably for imaging, explaining procedures, and ensuring safety throughout the process.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) certification required.
Minimum of 1-year professional experience in a radiology setting.
Proven ability in imaging procedures and practices.
Physical ability to lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a surgical or advanced imaging setting.

Skills:

Strong technical proficiency with radiologic imaging and patient management systems.
Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with staff and patients.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Meticulous attention to detail and precision.
Effective crisis management and ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
