Radiography Technologist - Part Time

Location: UCHealth UCHlth Urgent Care Cir Square, US:CO:Colorado Springs

Department: Urgent Care Radiology

FTE: Part Time, 0.6, 48.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Weekend Days

Pay: $27.61 - $41.41/hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R). Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for position. State licensure if required by law. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
• BLS - Must have BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with card in-hand before start date. Card must be valid for at least sixty days after hire.

Radiography - X-Ray Technologist Responsibilities:

• Review patient history and safely initiate radiographic images based on physician orders, ensuring effective patient education.
• Administer contrast media or related imaging medications while closely monitoring patient conditions.
• Report any changes in patient conditions promptly.
• Utilize established best practices in Radiology (AART) for clarity in imaging and quality control.
