R&D Lab Technician

Conduct laboratory analyses on R&D samples, including shelf-life testing and sensory evaluations. Create and apply labels and tags for samples and lab materials. Approve samples, open the lab, and perform other assigned tasks to support daily operations. Prepare product samples based on provided formulas for customer evaluations, ensuring timely delivery and accurate record-keeping. Collaborate closely with R&D and QC teams to support product development and quality initiatives. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-documented R&D workspace, including proper labeling and storage of ingredients, samples, and finished products. Provide support across R&D and QC departments as directed by the supervisor. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and production staff to ensure smooth workflow and accurate reporting. Accurately document all data and maintain legible, organized records.

Familiarity with Food Safety practices, including HACCP and other safety programs. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a laboratory or food manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate documentation. Ability to follow company procedures and collaborate effectively with team members. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and departmental needs.
