We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our devices meet the highest standards of performance and quality before they reach our clients. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of quality control processes, and the ability to work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections using IPC-620 standards in aerospace, defense, maritime, or automation industries.
• Interpret and utilize schematics, diagrams, and technical specifications for inspection processes.
• Utilize inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure product quality.
• Collaborate effectively with manufacturing and engineering teams to address and resolve quality issues.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records for quality assurance purposes.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of recent experience in IPC-620 quality inspection within aerospace, defense, maritime, or automation industries.
• Proficiency in testing with multimeters.
• Experience with schematics, diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Adaptability to frequently changing and ambiguous directions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Military mechanical experience, especially from the US Navy.
• Experience with defense, aviation, aerospace, or maritime products.
• Knowledge of autonomous systems, robotics, or sensor technologies.
• IPC-620 certification.
• Experience in start-up environments.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $40.00/hr.
