Quality Inspectors

The Quality Inspector will perform in-process inspections of sheet metal parts, including evaluating welds, holes, angles, and bend allowances on bent parts. The inspector will compare these elements to blueprints to ensure they fall within acceptable ranges and will document all findings meticulously.

Conduct in-process inspections of sheet metal parts.

Inspect welds, holes, angles, and bend allowances.

Compare inspected parts to blueprints.

Document inspection findings accurately.

Proficiency with calipers and micrometers.

Strong blueprint reading skills.

Experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.

Ability to inspect both finished and in-process sheet metal parts.

Minimum of 2 years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.

Preferable experience in sheet metal inspection.

Ability to stand for entire shifts, typically 10 hours.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with limited or no on-the-job experience to gain valuable skills and advance their careers. Employees receive a raise after 90 days for good performance and attendance, and additional raises plus shift differentials upon direct hire after 6 months. Opportunities for overtime, including double time on Sundays, are available. Furthermore, the company supports employees in furthering their education in fields such as welding or engineering.

The work environment is very clean and part of an extremely large company with three separate buildings in the area. While the facility is not air-conditioned, employees work on assembly lines and may engage in some production tasks. The company maintains a smoke-free environment with no designated smoking areas, and since breaks are paid, employees are not permitted to leave the campus during their shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, Minnesota.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. This is a fully onsite position in Champlin, MN.
