Overview

Marvin Roanoke is excited to welcome a Quality Engineering Intern to our team for Spring or Summer of 2026. This internship offers a unique opportunity to get hands-on experience in the documentation, development, support, assembly, and design of innovative jigs, fixtures, machines, and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Concept Development: Assist in creating and managing designs for fixtures, tooling, processes, and equipment. You will detail and annotate models and drawings to meet Marvin's standards and create electrical schematics/drawings to support internal builds and updates.
• Project Management: Support management and planning activities alongside engineering or maintenance departments to ensure that projects remain within budget and meet timelines.
• Effective Communication: Collaborate with Design Engineers and Project Managers to ensure that all designs and details fulfill project requirements. Act as a liaison with vendors for quoting and component procurement.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation for projects, including mechanical and electrical schematics, control system logic, manufacturing/process literature, and budgets. Organize and update a CEG Standard Parts Library, ensuring a user-friendly folder structure within the Inventor vault.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering program pursuing a bachelor's degree or a two-year degree in Drafting and 3D Technologies.
• Proficient in 2D and 3D modeling software; experience with Inventor is preferred, and Vault experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to effectively problem-solve and communicate.
