Quality Engineer

Key Role:

Manages the daily operations of quality and lean activities, including quality system and audits, continuous improvement programs, operational safety and regulations requirements coordination. Applies advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise, full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction, mentors and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in quality assurance, software development, or business analytics

• Experience reading Technical Design Packages

• Experience with Aircraft Modifications

• Knowledge of coding with automated testing frameworks, tools, and services

• Knowledge of ISO 9000 and AS9100

• Ability to work with different teams across organizations to present and communicate analytical findings on an independent basis

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, software development, business analytics, or a related field

• Knowledge of applying QA methodology in Agile or Scrum environments

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
