Quality Engineer II - 2nd Shift

The BAE Systems site in Aiken, South Carolina is seeking a Quality Engineer II in support of Combat Mission Systems for 2nd Shift.
In this role as a Quality Engineer II, you'll be charged to:

• Develop and write inspection plans.
• Read, interpret, and apply blueprint skills.
• Apply Geometric Dimensions & Tolerancing (GD&T) concepts.
• Monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts and data files.
• Process non-conformances for disposition.
• Provide technical quality support to production and engineering.

Please note: This role supports on 2nd Shift on a "9x80" work schedule. Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• This position typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline, and two (2) years related experience, or the overall equivalent.
• Ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints.
• Working knowledge in reading, comprehending, and applying GD&T principles and applications.
• Ability to read and understand raw material specifications.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Understanding of Quality and Lean Principles.
• Ability to support 2nd Shift.

• Oracle MRP system;
• First Article Inspection preparation;
• PFEMAs;
• Writing inspection plans;
• Statistical Process Control;
• Laser Scanner Inspection technology;
• Polyworks inspection programing;
• CMM-Manager inspection programming.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $70735 - $
