nnThe COMET contract provides overall management and implementation of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing, and launch operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida. These tasks will support the International Space Station, Ground Systems Development and Operations, and the Space Launch System, Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, and Launch Services programs.
nnnResponsibilities
nAreas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
n- n
- Reviews work authorization documents to ensure proper application of inspection requirements. -Obtain/maintain MR/MRB certification and support technical assessment of nonconforming products. n
- Initiate, follow-up, and ensure closure of non-conformances. n
- Contribute technically to Design/Project Reviews, V&V assessments, and Technical Boards. n
- Participate in inspections and investigations with guidance from senior team members. n
- Creates, updates, and validates Acceptance Data Packs. n
- Develops sampling plans. n
- Create systems and methods to measure processes and procedures. n
- Establish/assess quality performance criteria in the execution of Program requirements. n
- Develop/establish/maintain processes and metrics that support contract and AS9100 (latest rev.) requirements. n
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data, making recommendations. n
- Present and communicate data analysis. n
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies. n
- Contributes to team effort by mentoring team members and documenting quality processes. n
- Performs other duties as assigned. n
