GW Health is the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years, integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC's), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This integrated delivery system establishes a robust network of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it ensures residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community. This full-service hospital includes trauma care with a helipad for emergency transport, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, a NICU, Intensive care, Medical/Surgical care, Telemetry care, and a soon-to-be open ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services.
We are seeking an experienced Quality Coordinator (Full Time-Days). Our ideal candidate will evaluate and improve the quality of patient care by ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and implementing quality management systems. Key responsibilities include monitoring quality measures, analyzing data for trends, developing reports, conducting staff training on quality processes, overseeing infection control, and collaborating with medical staff to resolve issues and enhance patient safety.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related healthcare field required. 2 or more years of Quality Assurance experience in an acute healthcare setting.
