Quality Assurance Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring that our products consistently meet the highest standards of quality. With a focus on precision, you will engage in a variety of tasks that contribute to our reputation for excellence in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on inspections, utilizing tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauge pins to measure parts.
• Inspect a diverse range of medical procedure parts, including those used in bypass surgery, back surgery, and catheters.
• Work within a cleanroom environment, wearing non-shedding attire to maintain a contamination-free workspace.
• Collaborate on validation, PPAP tasks, and report writing.
• Perform dimensional layouts using hand-measurement tools and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
• Review blueprints for new or revised products.
• Tabulate sample data and assist in compiling technical reports using Microsoft Word or Excel.
• Create and update process flow diagrams, PFMEA, and control plans.
• Collect and analyze product data, support corrective actions, and provide backup for Receiving and Final Inspection.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in reading prints and using measuring devices.
• Experience with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauge pins.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for data entry, formula setup, and data manipulation.
• Experience in Quality Assurance with measurements.
• Experience with CMM, preferably in programming.
• Self-starter capable of working independently.
• Experience reading blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with CMM and/or GD&T.
• Ability to carry cartons weighing 20-25 lbs. occasionally.
• Limited physical effort required, with the ability to carry at least 35 lbs.
• Motivated, organized, and attentive to detail.

Work Environment

Work in a cleanroom environment equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The role involves a Monday to Friday schedule, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, in a setting designed to ensure precision and quality in all aspects of work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Rosa, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
