QC Micro Associate Sun-Wed 6AM to 4:30PM Shift

Purpose and Scope of Position: The primary focus of the Quality Control (QC) Micro Associate role will be to perform GMP testing to support product release and in-process testing. This role will also provide technical support and troubleshooting for microbiological tests.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform GMP lot release and in-process testing for microbiological test methods and perform data analysis using various electronic instruments and computer systems
• Support assay transfer and method validation by executing validation protocols and generating data/results to support the final report
• Assist in the implementation of new assay methodologies and the associated instruments
• Operate and maintain microbiological instruments according to standard operating procedures
• Participate in cross-functional training
• Author and revise standard operating procedures and test methods
• Identify and facilitate continuous improvement projects
• Lead small scope projects

Working Conditions (US Only): The role is set in a controlled environment where the analyst will don personnel protective equipment (PPE) for personnel safety and for contamination control strategy. Analysts in this role may stand for 4-6 hours during assay performance.
