Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned QA Lead to oversee testing efforts for clinical data interoperability initiatives.
This role supports the integration of external EHRs and provider systems, ensuring high-quality data ingestion and distribution across domains such as clinical claims, medical management, and AI-driven analytics.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, healthcare domain expertise, and hands-on testing experience to manage complex, multi-stream development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Define and maintain comprehensive test strategies tailored to healthcare IT projects
Establish and monitor test environments to support robust QA execution
Lead creation of targeted test scenarios using statistically valid data sets
Perform hands-on testing of APIs, backend data flows, and UI components
Write and execute SQL queries (including AWS Redshift) for data validation and comparison
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and facilitate defect triage meetings
Mentor QA team members and review test scripts for best practice adherence
Oversee initial build-out of test automation and identify opportunities to expand coverage
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and analysts to align on requirements and quality goals
Provide daily QA metrics and status updates to leadership
Actively contribute to test case design and execution for complex integration and data-driven scenarios
Manage identification, resolution, and mitigation of defects in both test and production environments

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
Strong background in software testing and QA leadership
Healthcare domain expertise
Strong SQL skills and experience with AWS Redshift
Experience in data analytics and validation
Familiarity with work item management tools such as Rally or Jira
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with test automation frameworks and tools

Education: Bachelors Degree
