Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure Monitor, Azure Key Vault, Azure Event Hub, Python, and SQL. Experience in Investment Banking Operations and Brokerage is a plus. This role involves developing and optimizing solutions that enhance our investment banking services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement scalable solutions using Azure Monitor, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Event Hub to enhance system performance and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize data pipelines using Python and SQL for efficient data processing.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues providing timely resolutions to ensure seamless operations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes by implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
• Ensure the security and integrity of data by implementing robust encryption and access control measures.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
• Monitor system performance and implement necessary optimizations to maintain high availability and reliability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers fostering a collaborative and learning-focused environment.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to development standards.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed solutions and processes.
• Collaborate with the investment banking operations team to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of the investment banking and brokerage domain.

Qualifications

• Possess strong expertise in Azure Monitor, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Event Hub.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and analysis.
• Experience in investment banking operations and brokerage is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model with a focus on collaboration and communication.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality technical solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until July 1st 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $54K- 59K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
