Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Python Developer (Jersey City) to join their dynamic team. As a Python Developer (Jersey City), you will be part of the Enterprise Capital Management technology team supporting critical regulatory compliance projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Python Developer (Jersey City)

Location: Jersey City, NJ

What's the Job?

• Develop and maintain scalable Python applications supporting regulatory capital reporting processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Optimize application performance through profiling, tuning, and memory management techniques.

• Participate in agile development cycles, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Assist in migrating existing systems to strategic platforms, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

What's Needed?

• 8+ years of experience in Python development, demonstrating a strong command of coding best practices.

• 2+ years of Java development experience is advantageous.

• Proficiency in SQL programming, preferably with Oracle Exadata databases.

• Experience with UNIX scripting and familiarity with unit testing frameworks.

• Knowledge of agile methodologies and SDLC processes, with a focus on performance tuning and large-scale enterprise applications.
