Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Per Diem

Springfield Psychological, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - Per Diem to join our team in Pennsylvania. As a member of the Optum Behavioral Care team, you'll be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone.

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), you will treat a wide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of our diverse patient population. We offer a variety of solutions that meet the unique needs of our workforce and the patients they serve.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools and diagnostic criteria to formulate comprehensive treatment plans

• Deliver individual and group psychotherapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities tailored to each patient's needs

• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications per established protocols and clinical guidelines; monitor medication efficacy and side effects, adjusting treatment plans to optimize patient outcomes

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Clear, active and unrestricted Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in the state of practice

• Active DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration

• Current independent contractor supporting Optum Behavioral Care

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $43.22 to $77.21 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable
