Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Fee for Service

Join Thriveworks as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner!

We are looking for dedicated professionals to provide virtual mental health care to a diverse population of clients across various age groups, including adults and adolescents.

Compensation: This is a Fee for Service (W2) position with an annual earnings range of $141,000-$203,000 based on 25-35 clinical hours per week.

Please note that clinicians must be licensed and residing in the state where they practice.

Your Role:

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients via telemedicine.
• Treat clients aged 14 and older.
• Work in-office at least once a week.
• Prescribe medications to help alleviate mental health symptoms when appropriate.
• Develop and collaborate on personalized care plans for clients.
• Complete necessary paperwork and utilize assessment tools as needed.
• Follow Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• Engage in consultations with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding clients and services.

Qualifications:

• Active Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in your state.
• Prior experience in psychiatric practice is required; three years total experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is advantageous.
• Willingness to complete in-house training on ADHD treatment standards and a subsequent certification exam.
