CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Manager I - Water to join our Infrastructure Water Team at our Indianapolis, IN or Columbus, OH office.

Clean and safe water and wastewater management is vital for every communitys well-being. CHA delivers environmentally friendly and cost-effective water, wastewater and stormwater projects. We offer full engineering and support services for industrial and municipal systems from initial planning through permitting, design, bidding, construction administration, start-up, certification, and ongoing operational assistance.

At CHA, the Project Manager I - Water works diligently to complete projects within the scope, budget, and schedule. This key role is responsible for managing the overall client relationship including any technical, financial, or logistical issues that may arise. Our Project Managers are skilled collaborators who are experts at problem solving and adapting and staying calm under pressure.

The Project Manager I - Water coordinates contracts with the clients and subcontractors, manages purchase orders, and oversees all other project related documents. This individual is responsible for all project financials and subcontractor payments, clearly communicates updates to the client, management, and project team, and attends monthly project review meetings with operations.

The Project Manager I - Water develops project specific health and safety plan in coordination with health and safety manager and is responsible for verifying that projects meet required QA/QC compliance as determined by Quality Management Plan.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering required
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Minimum of 4 years of discipline specific engineering experience required; a minimum of 2 years of project management experience required
• Demonstrates a strong knowledge of the respective engineering discipline with the proven ability to practically apply engineering best practices
• Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
• Familiar with QA/QC procedures and understands basic business practices and laws related to engineering
• Ability to demonstrate leadership skills and effectively work in a collaborative environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
• Proficiency with MS Office software required
• An active role in a professional engineering society/organization preferred
• Proven ability to manage scope, budget and schedule of technical tasks
• Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task effectively
• A self-starter who excels in a high-paced work environment and works well independently

Salary Range:

$95,000 - $111,500

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
